Digital Cameras

Camera which captures videos and photographs via electronic image sensor by recording images is called digital camera. Now these days still cameras even can record sounds and movies as well. According to 21st century most of cameras are digital.

Digital cameras have unique features like they have ability to show picture even after a second of capture in other words we can see picture shot just by capturing photo. These types of cameras always having huge memory storage device so that we can store even thousands of pictures in it. Even when space is filled we can delete old pictures and can add new ones in place of that. Now these days’ digital cameras are used in many other ranging devices such as one of the main device in which mostly used digital camera is a mobiles phone.

There are different types of digital cameras according to price range of size and capabilities. Mobile phone camera is always considered as mobile phone application. People are using digital cameras increasingly now these days but professionals always use expensive and digital single lens reflex (DSLR) cameras for greater versatility. For some special purposes multi spectral imaging cameras are designed which are used in military, medical and other special purposes.

Digital cameras are classified into Bridge cameras, compact digital cameras, Mirror less cameras, digital single lens reflex cameras.

Compact cameras are used for casual snapshots so that’s why also called point and shoot cameras. Compact cameras are less than 20 mm thick and are described as ultra compacts. These cameras having leaf shutter in their lenses as well. These are cheaper in cost and easy to use so that’s why are commonly used.

Bridge cameras are having well performance and physically and economically having resemblance with DSLRs with advance features. These cameras having fixed lenses and small sensors. Like compact digital cameras these don’t have live previews while having auto focus. But in some models having separate lens control device. These cameras having big physical size and small sensor these cameras having highly specified lenses with large zoom. These cameras are sometime confusing but also commonly used. In low light bridge cameras quality is always affected.

After long years in 2008 a new type of camera was introduced which is emerged and combination of DSLRs with live preview and compact digital cameras.

First 3D lens Lumix G 12.5 nm/F12 was introduced in 2009 by Panasonic. Two lenses were used in that camera and this was used to record both 3D and 2D picture at a time.

This was a question by many peoples and photographers when digital camera became common that films cameras can be digital or not. Answers was in no because cost will be too much in that case but some articles were introduced on special demand of photographers. In digital cameras there is enough space for electronics which allows liquid crystal display to preview. In very start early professionals developed cameras with 35 nm film.

Now these days digital cameras are common and cheap even in somewhere some used cameras are also available. These are most liked by peoples because having different and user friendly features.
