Laptop which is also known as notebook is specially designed for mobile purposes. A laptop includes display, keyboard, touch pad which is also known as track pad or pointing stick and speakers as well. Laptop is always rechargeable via electricity and AC adapter so even we can use this away from electricity. When laptop is in very new condition then its battery also stores more energy and we can use this for 4 to 5 hours easily away from electricity but its always depend on usage, configuration and management of laptop. We can charge laptops just plugged into mains and that’s not the mater we are using laptop or not this will store energy in it.

Now these days’ new laptops are not having much and more prices because now these days’ people are using technology commonly. As now there is a huge market so we can even buy used laptops which are almost on half price of new ones, this all depends that how is condition of laptop. Good quality laptops are widely used now for all purposes.

If we see history of laptops then we always came to know that first computer was developed in early 1970s and that idea of portable computer was imagined by Alan Kay at Xerox PARC in 1968 and that was known as a Dynabook.

First IBM was introduced in commercial market in 1975 and it was totally based on SCAMP prototypes.

People liked that amazed development so its usage was increased rapidly so in the same year first laptop was developed with rechargeable battery. First laptop using Film form factor was introduced in 1980s. Its weight was 1.6 KG (3.5 lb) at that time. Then with passage of time according to rapid use of peoples latest portable computers and laptops introduced in special designs with different aspects. After that many new released were in 1984-1985.

Laptops are classified into different classes like Full size laptops, Notepads, Table PC and Rugged.

Full size laptops are in full size even enough to accommodate large keyboard s as well.
Notepads are more reliable and commonly used. Price wise these are cheaper than full size laptops. Table PCs are having touch screens. Rugged is very unique type of laptops and is commonly used among high professionals.

Replacement of desktop computer is laptop which provides best performance with same level of performance. Replacement of desktops is heavier and larger than standard laptops because they are having more powerful components. In early 2000s these replacements were more powerful and were very easy to upgrade them. Now these days laptops are cheap and commonly used even used laptops are in everyone’s range. Desktop replacements are sometimes called Desk tones. Now these days in markets there are different and latest types of laptops.

Laptops are very advantageous in terms of up to date information, productivity, abundance, relevancy, connectivity, low electricity, better energy storage and all in one.
There are some disadvantages of laptops in terms of up gradation, durability, privacy and security.

Overall now these days it’s really one thing which full fills your all needs in one component even this is combination of many components.
